Jasmine De Milo is the daughter of Harrods owner Mohammed Al Fayed.
With a father who owns probably the most renowned department store selling the world's finest designer clothing, Jasmine has had a good introduction to luxury clothing from an early age.
Jasmine launched her first collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2006, at the her fathers hotel, the Ritz to criticism by British newspapers that her name and family money were really all that was going for the label.
Jasmine clearly had access to an amazing wardrobe of designer clothes, shoes and accessories and had the opportunity to see first hand what beautifully made quality clothes look and feel like.
This has had a huge impact on her and her choice to become a fashion designer.
The clothes that she designs show this love of luxurious fabrics and attention to detail.
Whilst she has the benefit of the Al Fayed name, she does not use it as a marketing tool for her range of clothing instead using the surname De Milo.
Despite not using her father's name, she has gained greatly from her family connections by the amount of press attention generated by her launch into the world of fashion.
But that does not mean that her designs to not have any worth when they stand alone on merit.
Her designs are stylish and feminine and probably reflect her love of flattering and beautifully made clothing.
They are just the sort of clothes that she would probably love to have in her own wardrobe.
Whilst still fairly new to the world of fashion design, Jasmine De Milo has made a great start.
As she develops and gains experiences her clothes are sure to become even better.
The world will be watching her to see what comes next.
